Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the QuizDare mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use QuizDare. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent’s or legal guardian’s consent to use the App. By using QuizDare, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Account registration

  • You must create an account with a valid email address and password, or sign in with your Google account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when completing your profile.
  • You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

When using QuizDare, you agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate quiz results, scores, or leaderboards
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the App
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Upload offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s servers or infrastructure
  • Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person
  • Misuse the AI QuizBot feature for purposes unrelated to quizzing or learning

Points & achievements

  • Points, levels, streaks, and achievements are virtual metrics within QuizDare.
  • They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real-world currency, goods, or services.
  • We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or remove points and achievements if abuse or exploitation is detected.
  • Leaderboard rankings are calculated based on accumulated points and may be reset periodically.

Premium subscription

Features

QuizDare Premium currently includes: 2× points and XP on all gameplay, +50% streak-reward multiplier, no ads on streak claims, 5 lifelines per quiz (free players get 3), unlimited custom AI quizzes and AI chat (free players get 30 per day), and exclusive achievements. Premium features may evolve; we will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

Billing

  • Premium is offered as a monthly subscription at $4.99/month, billed exclusively through Google Play Billing.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Cancel anytime in your Google Play account.
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable prior notice.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Google Play according to its refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. If you experience an issue with your subscription, contact us at [email protected] and we will help where we can.

Intellectual property

  • The QuizDare App, its design, features, code, and content (including AI-generated quiz questions) are owned by QuizDare and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content.

AI-generated content

QuizDare uses artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions, explanations, and chat responses. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies.
  • Quiz content is for entertainment and educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
  • We continuously improve our AI systems but do not guarantee perfection.

User content

If you submit content through the App (e.g., usernames, profile information, AI chat messages):

  • You retain ownership of your content.
  • You grant QuizDare a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your content to provide the App’s services.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate these Terms or any applicable laws.

Account termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through the App’s settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or exploit the App.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

QuizDare is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Quiz content will be accurate, complete, or current
  • The App will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuizDare and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of QuizDare shall be resolved through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by local law.
