For adults only (18+)
QuizDare is strictly for players aged 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). Real money and cryptocurrency are involved, and we take age limits seriously. If you are under 18, you may not create an account, play, upgrade, or withdraw. We may verify age and will close accounts that break this rule.
Keep it fun
QuizDare is designed as entertainment that can reward what you know — not as a way to make a living or solve money problems. Play for the challenge and enjoyment first. The moment it feels like pressure, stress, or a way to “win back” money, it’s time to step back.
Spend only what you can afford
- Playing QuizDare is free. Upgrades are entirely optional.
- If you choose to upgrade, treat it as money you are prepared to lose — never money you need for essentials like rent, bills, food, or debts.
- Upgrades are non-refundable and do not guarantee any return. Whether you earn back the cost depends only on how much you play and how accurately you answer.
- Never borrow money, use funds that aren’t yours, or take on debt to upgrade.
- Don’t chase losses. Spending more to try to recover a previous spend is one of the clearest warning signs of a problem.
A simple rule of thumb: decide your budget before you play, and stick to it. If you ever feel unsure whether you can afford an upgrade, that’s your answer — don’t.
Tips to stay in control
- Set a personal budget and time limit before each session.
- Take regular breaks — the daily challenges will still be there tomorrow.
- Keep playing balanced with the rest of your life, relationships, work, and sleep.
- Don’t play when stressed, upset, bored at 3 a.m., or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Track what you actually spend on upgrades over time, not just what you earn.
- Remember that published earning figures are maximums, not typical results (see our Disclaimer).
Signs it may be becoming a problem
Consider pausing and seeking support if you recognise any of these:
- Spending more than you planned, or more than you can afford.
- Upgrading to try to win back money you’ve already spent (chasing losses).
- Playing or spending in secret, or lying about it to people close to you.
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when you’re not playing.
- Neglecting work, studies, family, or responsibilities to play.
- Borrowing money, selling things, or using funds meant for essentials to keep going.
- Feeling unable to stop even though you want to.
You don’t have to tick every box for it to matter. If any of this feels familiar, it’s worth acting early.
Setting limits & self-exclusion
If you’d like help staying within limits, or you want to take a break, we’re here to help — no questions asked:
- Cooling-off / self-exclusion: Email [email protected] with the subject “Self-exclusion request” and tell us the length of break you’d like (for example, 30 days, 6 months, or permanent). We will restrict your account for that period.
- Account closure: You can ask us to permanently close your account at any time.
- A break from reminders: Ask us to stop optional notifications and emails so QuizDare stays out of mind while you step away.
Please withdraw any available balance before a permanent self-exclusion or closure, and cancel plans to purchase further upgrades.
Where to get support

- BeGambleAware (UK) — begambleaware.org, National Gambling Helpline 0808 8020 133.
- GamCare (UK) — gamcare.org.uk.
- Gamblers Anonymous (international) — gamblersanonymous.org.
- National Problem Gambling Helpline (US) — call or text 1-800-522-4700, ncpgambling.org.
- Gambling Therapy (international, multilingual) — gamblingtherapy.org.
Please note: the resources above are provided for convenience and may change. QuizDare is not affiliated with them, and this list should be reviewed and localised for your launch regions. If you are in crisis or a life-threatening situation, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Protecting minors
If you share a device, keep your login details private and consider parental-control or content-filtering tools to prevent under-18s from accessing real-money services. If you believe a minor is using QuizDare, please tell us at [email protected].
Talk to us
Reaching out is a strength, not a weakness. Whether you want to set limits, take a break, or just talk something through, email [email protected] or use our contact page.
